Thailand – Travel, Documentary & Street Photography

Thailand has been an important part of my photographic journey for many years. Living here has given me the opportunity to look beyond the familiar tourist images and document everyday life as I experience it — from the streets of Bangkok and the markets of Pattaya to the mountains of Northern Thailand.

I am drawn to people, movement, local life, changing light and the small moments that often go unnoticed. My photographs are not simply about places; they are about the atmosphere and stories I encounter along the way.

Bangkok – A City of Endless Stories

Bangkok never seems to stand still. Skytrains pass above crowded streets, markets come alive before sunrise, boats move along the river and modern skyscrapers rise beside some of the city's oldest neighbourhoods.

For me, Bangkok is a constant source of photographic inspiration. The most interesting moments are often found where different sides of the city meet.

Pattaya – More Than the Stereotypes

Pattaya is often seen through a very narrow lens. Living here has shown me a much broader picture — local markets, quiet mornings, busy streets, everyday routines and the many different faces of life in the city.

Ayutthaya – Where Thailand’s History Comes to Life

Once the capital of the Kingdom of Siam, Ayutthaya is a place where centuries of history remain visible in ancient temples, weathered Buddha statues and the ruins of a once-thriving city.

Walking through Ayutthaya Historical Park with my camera, I am drawn to the interplay of light, architecture and the traces of the past. Beyond its famous temples, everyday life continues along the streets and waterways, creating a fascinating contrast between Thailand’s rich heritage and the present day.

Through my lens, Ayutthaya is more than a collection of historic monuments. It is a place where history, culture and everyday life come together, offering a different perspective on Thailand.

Chiang Mai – Northern Thailand

Northern Thailand has a rhythm of its own. Around Chiang Mai, I photograph the historic city, local markets, mountain landscapes and the people who give this part of Thailand its character.
